Detail
Our AC unit is perfect for RVs. You don't need to worry about the noise level of this AC in that size of space. This AC runs with a low decibel of 54.7. So instead of feeling like you need to scream over your AC, you can just relax to a gentle whirl.
Because of the delicate nature of the circuitry that is exposed to the elements and the upper limit of amp draw needed to work, the ACs will not function above an outdoor temperature of 122°F. Be sure to always check the weather ahead of travel and park in the shade when possible.
Determining what kind of air conditioner you need may be done using several methods:
● Refer to the manual of your vehicle.
● Speak with the manufacturer of your vehicle.
● Inspect any air vents in your vehicle for ducting. If ducting is present, you will need a ducted air conditioner. If ducting is not present, you will need a non-ducted unit.
● Inspect your current air conditioner unit by removing the plenum and looking for air duct connections. If air duct connections are found, you will need a ducted air conditioner. If duct connections are not present, you will need a non-ducted air conditioner.
● If no AC unit is currently installed, inspect the sides of the AC mounting hole in the roof of your vehicle for duct openings. If duct openings are present, you will need a ducted air conditioner. If duct openings are not present, you will need a non-ducted air conditioner.
