• Eco Mode - The Eco-Mode lets you put the boiler into a standby state and save up to 33% in energy costs.

The differences are that the 5100IS has a pressure gauge, variable steam dial, and a foot pedal to activate the steam.The 4100IS does not have a pressure gauge and the steam is activated by hand with a switch on the side of the unit.

ECO mode is an energy-saving mode which keeps your boiler at a “ready state” of 2 bars (29 psi) of pressure which uses much less electricity than holding at the max. When you are ready to use steam, flick the switch to the “ON” position to get ready in 1-2 minutes.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT IRON in ECO Mode.This is a ready state and will not produce dry steam.

If you use your boiler all day long, you’ll likely never need Eco-Mode. However, if you have periods during the day that you know the boiler will not be needed, the Eco-Mode lets you put the boiler into a standby state.
